Thursday had arrived.  I, armed with a French model, made my way to find a tuxedo rental.  I had grandeur images of a James Bond tuxedo fitting, but Moss Bros For Hire did not deliver, go figure.  After trying a few on, we found the slim fit that Arthur says is so in right now.  Word of warning, once you’ve worn a tux, your other clothes will never be the same.  It felt good, I’m not gonna lie.  Although the rental shirts were a one size fit all, aka extra awkwardly large, I was avec tux.  With a couple hours to spare I was inspired to iron the pre-packaged tuxedo shirt.  Little did I know I was walking into the infamous “ironing incident”.

Back by popular demand, I give you the newest update of The Travelling Gentleman…

After a long two weeks of being hassled to write another post, I feel I have finally accumulated enough news to write more than a paragraph or two.  These couple weeks consisted of a Superbowl, my first proper English football experience, my first visit to Camden Town, the Bavarian Beerhouse, a flat party, becoming a fan of rugby, and all the while being held back from a world of opportunities by the financial and societal obligation known as higher education.  Let’s dive right in.

Hello from London!

After being inspired not only in life but also in means of online communication by my cousin and fellow traveler Scott who created a blog, I have set up my own to send out updates for family and friends.  Before I get into my first true post I feel it is necessary to give a quick explanation.  First, the title, ‘The Travelling Gentleman’.  This comes from
